Do you ever tire of seeing my fireplace?....Well, I was going through old pictures and I want you to focus on the pottery....When I got it it sat on my faux fireplace til I decided where I wanted it to go...But you'd never know unless you were really up close that 2 of them arrived like this and the other had a hairline crack...With a lot of patience and glue they are together....They are still some of my favorite pieces....And the ebayer couldn't have packed it any better....Until next time!!~~hugs, Jen
Your fireplace is gorgeous, so I never get tired of seeing it. OUCH, the pics of the broken pieces reminds me of a beautiful bathroom collection that I sold on Ebay. I packed it extremely well, the buyer said that it was all crushed to pieces though. I asked her to please just send me a picture of it and I'd send her her $ back, she never did though. ?? Maybe she was able to glue it all back together?? Don't stop showing us those pretty crocks.
Jen your home is one of my favorites and you re-arrange so often it looks different each time. Your Saltglaze is gorgeous....I also am a collector of it and have 86 pieces! Way too much for any one person! lol Karen
I never get tired of seeing your pics, Jen! i love your salt-glaze pottery collection. I had the same thing happen to me last summer. The spongeware mixing bowl that I ordered off ebay came broke, too, but it wasn't packed very well. Fortunately the seller was gracious and refunded my money. I glued it back together, but afraid to use it!
After seeing how items are being packed, I would not order breakables without making sure they were packed right. I only trust styrofoam for the surround, only way to ship.
Wow what a GREAT job fixing it. You sure couldn't tell from pictures that it was ever in pieces. What kind of glue did you use ? Oh and I loveeeee seeing your home pictures. Every time I am in awe..... Prim Huggs n Blessins TJ
Oh my I bet you were sick when you opened up your package & saw your crock all busted up! Glad that you got it all glued back together! Your house is beautiful & I enjoyed your pics! Hugs, Pam
I love seeing your pics! So sorry that your pottery arrived broken. That has happened to me before too. Your magic touch made them good as new! Have a great week!
What? Are you serious? You did an amazing job putting them back together!! I have never found glue that works that well with ceramic/pottery. So glad you were able to salvage them! Good work!

Oh my gosh Jen I had the same thing happen to me about ten years ago.
I won a crock on ebay and couldn't wait for it to come.
When it arrived it was in pieces.
Like you I glued it back together.
That crock sat on my porch for years and the glue held through all sorts of weather!
Oh I would have been heart broken! You did a fantastic job of putting it back together.
hugs, Judy

Hi Jen, I love your house decor and especially your saltglaze collection. You did an awesome job glued it back together.

Your collection is beautiful though.
