Awwww!!!!....My collection is growing....Don't you just LOVE blues?...Early blue calicoes....I have been collecting them for over a year and i think I've gotten a good variety so far....
Wow you have a nice blue collection of fabric. I can't get enough blue fabric lately, I have fallen in love with blue lately. My problem there is no fabric shops hardly where I live, have to drive a couple of hours. I have purchased some off line before and thats a good way to get it. Thanks for sharing your collection. Vicky
Love thos e old blues. Can't find too many around here. I have some reproductions of some taht are in your pile. But I love the worn look of yours much better. Thanks for sharing.
If they turn up missing, you will know that I have been there! LOL! They are beautiful! Where do you find these at Jen? Are they old or repro? Love them one way or the other! Jayne
Jennifer, I just came across your little blog. My heart is so heavy for you and your family. And your nephew, what a beautiful boy. Sit at the feet of Jesus and let him comfort you like no other can. He knows. Bless you.
Great selection of "blues"! I have just an awful time finding just the right shade of blue fabric!Could you share the names of some of the fabric companies for these? The quilt shops that I frequent really don't have a lot of blues( at least not the blue I want)! Thanks! Wanda
Hi Wanda (Oldecrow)...These are Early fabric pieces from the 1800's....they are antique pieces....
Unfortunately I don't have a good shop to buy fabrics from either...Do a search on ebay or google for Reproduction Fabrics, Civil War Fabrics, etc...Especially on ebay you can find all kinds...That is where I get my reproduction fabrics..
I love your collection of blue fabrics. I love to find pieces of fabric or any textiles especially if it's blue. When I find fabric, doilies, pillow tops, old pillow cases, I just can't pass them by without taking them home. I'm not sure what I'll do with them, but when it hits me the stash is there. Looking forward to see what you come up with for your new stash. tamera Country at heart
