Another Monday has come and gone...I have heard that we are going to get some cooler temps after having temps in the 90's for so long...We know, living in Georgia, that our weather is crazy and we never know what our seasons will bring...Last winter was very mild for us and we have been working in our yards since January and February...So, I am ready for a break from our yard duties...I'm ready to hibernate in and do some sampler designing and dreaming of my spring gardens...Maybe start some indoor projects...We have been working on outdoor projects for so long...So, after the first of the year, I am going to share with you the outdoor projects we have been up to that has transformed our simple little brick house with lots of pictures...
In the meantime, I am dreaming of some cooler temps...I have been potting mums in the galvanized buckets I got back in the spring and putting out a few pumpkins...Just keeping it simple..I was thinking about making a few signs...
I hope everyone is having a good start to your week...I will be back soon...
From the Farmhouse! Hugs, Jen

It's been warm lately here in southern WV after having a nice cool spell, then last night it got down to 35F and there was frost this morning! I guess summer finally kissed us goodbye.
I hope it does cool down in GA, I'd love to see more of your stitching! Looking forward to your outdoor pics too.
Looking forward to seeing pics of your outdoor projects! Hope cool weather arrives in Ga soon! The days have cooled down nicely here in NY and the nights have been cold with frost warnings. Perfect fall weather for me!
Pink eye has arrived as well, with the grandchildren, and this Nana will be heading out in a few minutes to urgent care with her own case of what I believe is it! Don’t remember ever having it, although back in the day, we probably just let it run it’s course. Seems to me I remember everyone giving a “cold in their eye.”
Have a great day!
Hi Jessica! Our weather is so up and down here that I usually don't pack away any summer clothes anymore...Not uncommon to have a warm Thanksgiving or a warm Christmas...I just have to dig them back out again...And it is not uncommon for me to grab a tank top to wear under a long cardigan in January with my boots...I just welcome some cooler temps at this point...You have a blessed day!
Hi Penny! I have been waiting for my northern friends to have cooler temps...I know that they will eventually come down to us here in the south..I kept hearing that everyone was having such hot temps...We don't get our colors here til November...I am usually decorating for Christmas with the autumn leaves falling...Have a blessed day!
